We need new tents and equipment to keep our Cub Scouts dry on wet camps and give them the best Scouting experience that we can provide. The tents we currently have are small and fit around 3 Cub Scouts, so when it is raining at camp when we aren't doing activities the Cubs are either stuck in the Mess Tent (where we prepare, cook and store food) or lying down in their tents, because there isn't even room to stand up. Another problem with these small tents means that there isn't much room for the Cub Scouts gear, which usually ends up soaked also. The new tents we hope to purchase will be big enough for 5-6 Cub Scouts and give them room to stand up and a porch to keep their gear dry, where they can also entertain themselves if it is raining at camp. We also need equipment to improve the Cub Scouts skills, such as Archery sets, First Aid kits and equipment and Pioneering equipment.
