Hello, my name is Shannon and my story is boring. I've taken up running, running is fun but running is tough and on Sunday 5th November I will be running a 10km race for the first time ever with lots of other people who also like to run.

My sister kitty is a junior athlete in Curling, and has a much cooler story. She will be representing England at the World Juniors in Finland in January again this year but needs help with funding, so all of the money I raise in this race will go towards sending Kitty to compete. Every competition the team goes to is invaluable training and pushes them closer towards becoming medal-winning athletes!

We will be competing at the World Junior B league Curling Championships in Lohja, Finland in January 2018 representing England in the Under 21 Ladies Discipline. We recieve funding from the World Curling Federation for our flights to the championships but everything else such as accomodation; food; ice fees; kit; not just for our 5 players but for our coaches fees as well, is all self funded. We would appreciate anything you can give to help our journey to the Worlds and represent England for our age group!
