I am raising money for a fantastic dance project I will be taking part in with Moving Together in India!

The project is in partnership with the Gandhi Ashram situated in Ahmedabad in the Indian state of Gujarat. I will work as part of a team to provide a dance activity programme for the children of the Gandhi Ashram and the local community in the Ramapir No Tekro slum. The programme will help the children learn a wide variety of dance styles, as well as develop their creativity and produce theoretical work. It is such a great opportunity for me to be able to share my love for dance and creativity with others. I believe that dance allows an exchange of ideas, movement, backgrounds and culture- making the experience extremely rewarding for all involved!

I am already working in a number of jobs to support myself while I am studying for a masters degree but need some extra help, any contributions at all will be HUGELY appreciated. This will help go towards the cost of Flights, travel, accommodation etc. To help Raise money for this project I will also be working with Moving Together in December to teach a Bollywood inspired dance to 500 people in 5 days!
