I've raised £1000 to create a science award in memory of Colleen Higgins.

On September 29th this year, I will be running the Great Scottish Run 10k alongside my sister, mum, dad (he is doing the half marathon) and family friend - all in memory of my sister Colleen who sadly passed away earlier this year on February 9th 2019. Colleen was a bright and independent young woman with a passion for science who studied and graduated in Pharmaceutical studies at Strathclyde University. Colleen herself ran the same 10k in 2017 for the Scottish Association for Mental Health, raising money to stop the stigma and raise awareness. This is just a reflection on the determined, caring and kind-hearted type of person that she was. With this in mind, help support us on our journey as we carry on in Colleen’s memory and create a science award for underprivileged students so that they can discover their love of science, as Colleen did. Thank you, The Higgins Family.
