What is crowdfunding?

Story
I am making this crowd fund to help the homeless people of Liverpool during winter, the weather is taking the turn for the worse and this winter many people will not have homes to go to, some of them have been homeless for a long time and some have just became homeless but never the less they need help and hopefully we can help.
