Story

I am a type 1 diabetic and have been from the age of 2 so around 15 years ive been living with this auto-immune disease. I had no choice other than to live with it and learn how to keep myself alive every single day. My pancreas stopped working and now dosent produce any insulin into my body to regulate my blood glucose levels, therefore i take injections filled with man made insulin to substitute for my pancreas. To work out how much insulin to take i much check my blood sugars using a blood glucose meter. From there i correct if im sugars are high and take insulin if ill be consuimg carbohydrates.

Recently ive relaised not everyone is aware of the signs or symptoms of disbetes (type one or two), so i have decided to raise money to hopefully help spread the word around and get more people educated in diabetes.

Please help out! It will be greatly appreciated. A little goes a long way!!
