Story
Ruby is one of our toddlers and has been at Shardlow Hall Nursery since she was 10 months old, during this time Ruby has built strong bonds with all the staff and children and has a really cheeky fun loving character with the biggest heartwarming smile.
Last week Ruby's parents heard the devastating news that Ruby had a 10cm mass on her kidney which has since been diagnosed as a cancerous Wilm's Tumour. As you can imagine we are all absolutely devastated and worried by this truly awful news.
Ruby's parents are now on sick leave and as you can imagine the financial implications are an additional concern at this already very difficult time, which no family should have to worry about.
It is hoped that any money raised for Ruby and her family will go towards relieving some of the financial burden faced by her family during this stressful and upsetting time. We would like to make this Christmas as special as possible for Ruby and her family.
Fundraising at Shardlow Hall Day Nursery for worthy causes has always been close to our hearts and so far we have done a fantastic job raising money for many causes. With this in mind we could not think of a more worthy cause than helping Ruby and her family at this difficult time. We would like to raise funds to take away some of the money worries they may experience over the coming months.

The small print.
Shardlow Hall Private Day Nursery have set this page up on behalf of Ruby's family with their permission. Once we have finished the monies will be transferred into the nursery account, from there transferred to a bank account of the families choice. Proof of the total raised will be provided to the family and posted on social media. Please note that Just Giving charge a 5% fee which is taken automatically from the total amount raised. There is also a fee per transaction for donations made in GBP via debit or credit card of 1.25% and via PayPal 1.45%. So the final amount transferred will be slightly less than that shown as donated. The family may use the money in any way they like. Please only donate if you understand and accept this.
