💛 For Sharelle, a brave little girl with the biggest heart.

Sharelle Gilley is a 7-year-old girl from Seven Sisters, Neath, living with her mum, dad, and four sisters. Like most girls her age, she loves LOL dolls, Taylor Swift, TikTok, animals, and playing with her friends and sisters. She is clever, funny, and full of life—a wonderful friend to everyone who knows her.

But on 15th March 2024, Sharelle began her second battle against cancer when she was diagnosed with AML High Risk Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.

Her only chance of survival was a bone marrow transplant, and her incredible, brave sister Shantia became her donor. Sharelle underwent her transplant at Sheffield Children’s Hospital, where she and her mum, Jo, spent six long months battling complications, including Graft vs Host Disease, Thrombocytopenia, and a rare condition called Thrombotic Microangiopathy (TMA)—all while still smiling and laughing through it all.

Despite her incredible strength and resilience, Sharelle and her family have now received the heartbreaking news that no further treatment is available. She has returned home to spend the precious time she has left surrounded by the people who love her most.

At TW Group (South Wales) LTD, we want to do something to support Sharelle and her family in this unimaginably difficult time. TW Group (South Wales) LTD will be taking on a virtual 1,303km cycle challenge from 8th February to 15th February – giving us just 7 days to complete the full distance of the Welsh Coastal Path from our office!"

Our goal is to help give Sharelle the chance to make beautiful memories with her family and to ease any financial burdens during this heartbreaking time.
