Story
im passtionate about wool dyeing and weaving using substainable products from the enviroment that are natural and ethically sourced. My spinning and creativity is my meditation and helps me with my anxity. spining has been my savour from depression from working in pallative care
and challenging times i wish to share my journey with you and other to educate about fleece fibre and natural dying and how amazing plants are and their magical properties of making colours from nature. Im looking for £300 to start up my allotment dye garden to buy plans shed and wood for boarders then be able to natural grown plants and herbs for natural dyeing to customers whom wish to explore this natural wonder to educate that colour does not have to fake and chemicals. In return i am offering talks classes or lessons in spining weaving or dying or plants/herbs for dying to whom support me. We are living in times of great change is need in how we approach textiles for clothing. Thank you for supporting
You will be able to buy herbs/plants for natural dyeing but these will be grown in pots in my garden as i have follow the terms and conditons of the allotment plot but you will be able to come a visit me at the allotment to see how the plants grow

6 years agoA massive thank you to everyone that supported me! It tired out you all helped in unexpected way ! With being in hospital May June July and only now staring to feel better and we are in October my health took a turn this year but the allotment had kept me going and a focus point to recovery so thank you! I have enjoyed the dye allotment exploring Japanese indigo woad and much more! So thank you from my heart for I could never have been able to have started this without your support! 6 years agoThank you all for your support I’m harvesting freezing drying and gathering flowers and plants from the allotment to dye with! My indigo and woad is coming on! Been difficult few months due to hot weather but I get it watered with families help! And being taken to hospital 3 times but how exciting to see the allotment bloom!
