I've raised £500 to keep drivers safe on the road in Skye & Lochalsh

Keep Left is a campaign that was formed in 2019 after Sharon Anslow was in a head on collision with a driver on the wrong side of the road. Sharon worked tirelessly to promote the campaign back then but sadly there is still a need for it today. Sharon had much bigger visions for the campaign but unfortunately was unable to undertake those goals back in 2019.
Only a year ago, Sarah Archer was in a devastating accident with a foreign vehicle on the wrong side of the road. Innes Watson, Sarah’s partner, was on the scene within a minute of the accident and heartbreakingly had to witness Sarah seconds after pulling herself from her vehicle. Sarah and Innes live with with this memory and for Sarah, life altering injuries that they want to prevent others sustaining.
Earlier this year, Dana Campbell had witnessed multiple cars on the wrong side of the road while driving with her children in the car on various journeys. Dana had then nearly collided with a vehicle coming the wrong way out of a busy junction in the local town. Due to previous experience of road traffic accidents, one as child herself, Dana was left with such fear that she wanted to help make the roads safer so reached out to Sharon, Sarah and Innes and requested the revival of Keep Left.
So, here we have the new, rejuvenated team behind Keep Left whom want to keep the community, our children and our visitors safe from these life changing incidents.
As we continue to campaign and spread awareness, we incur costs such as printing and materials. So with the support of our Facebook community, we have decided to open this fundraising page - all funds will be spent on the campaign and all monies/items will be documented and recorded.
