katie is a wonderful young lady who needs your help ! Katie now 20 years old has a learning disability and has been raised in a loving foster home for the past ten years. Unfortunatley Katie has a condition called tubular breasts and as she is getting older she is struggling with her confidence and self esteem. The NHS are unable to fund the 3 operations required as they will not fund breast surgery even though its not cosmetic unless the patient has a cancer diagnosis . Katie approached a consultant who agrees Katie does need this surgery and now she needs help to get there .

Tubular Breasts

Tuberous breasts (or tubular breasts) are a result of a congenital abnormality of the breasts which can occur in both men and women (also see Hypoplasia), one breast or both. During puberty breast development is stymied and the breasts fail to develop normally and fully.
