Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Global Diversity Positive Action is a community organisation established to help disadvantaged young people, people who are not in employment education or training and young people who are caught in a poverty trap and are struggling to find support, guidance, training and employment solutions. We want to help these young people by crowdfunding and putting on programmes, careers guidance, motivations and self-belief training courses to get them onto the right path. Currently some of these people are turning to crime and offending, we want to stop that and be there to support them through to a positive and more empowering solution so that they became ambassadors for their community and not repeat offenders. All the donations will go directly into to building out this project giving the young people from the community a real chance and opportunity that they deserve.
Our key objectives include:
Creating Employment opportunities
Promoting health and well being
Improving the attainment of disadvantaged communities – developing a culture of lifelong learning
Encouraging social responsibility
Promoting and recognising arts in the Community

About the fundraiser
As a magistrate and through my involvement with many charities, I come across many young people who find life a struggle. They don't know who to turn to and in most cases all they want is a chance and opportunity to make something of themselves.
