Kerry Park and her two girls Ceira and Iona's world fell apart when Jamie Park was taken away from them. Kerry lost her husband , her soul mate and the girls their daddy. Now obviously Kerry and Jamie's family wanted to give him the send off he deserved. Kerry was told she was entitled to government funding towards the funeral. She also put some of the little bit of widows pension she got towards it as well as Jamie's mum and dad contributing to send him off in style. Kerry was then contacted to say that actually she wasnt entitled to the help as they claimed separate benefits. Kerry was currently unable to work on doctors advise after a long ongoing illness. Being on very strong medication and regular hospital stays and appointments. So was claiming Esa .Kerry was then left with a huge bill to find the money for. The little bit of widows pension left that was supposed to be to help her and the girls throughout the grief and pain had to used to cover some of the costs. This has left Kerry with nothing for her girls. Life is so cruel sometimes. These girls need a little bit of something to look forward too in the summer, maybe a few days out. Im hoping we can raise a little bit to give this family who are grieving a big loss. 1st Christmas without Jamie has been a hard one and Ceira has just had her birthday.
