In 2021, our best pal Shaun received devastating news, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer. Since then, Shaun has battled countless rounds of treatment, scans, surgeries, and setbacks. Despite giving everything to fight this disease, the NHS can’t provide the treatment that he needs.

Now, every avenue of alternative treatments is being explored. We are looking to take some of the financial burden away as all of these treatments are abroad so come with significant costs. But they also come with a renewed sense of hope for Shaun - hope for more time, more options, and more memories made with those who love him.

To show our support - Paul Murphy, David Gray, Scott Spinelli, Jos Mackie, Stewart Boyd and myself are climbing Ben Nevis on the 5th of July, the highest mountain in the UK, to raise funds for Shaun’s treatment journey. Every step we take is for Shaun and his battle.
