Generosity and compassion required!!

So Zaidee went to school as her super hero Savannah today.
Dressed up, raring to go.
£26 sponsor money raised on a form at home.

You pay the sponsors after the event finishes and you collect, right?

Well....her school told her " sorry sweetie you've not given your money in today so you can't do the run"

😳😡

Zaidee , all dressed up, proud and excited to run for her sister, walked alone back to the class to do handwriting.

She came home in tears and had me in tears too.

I have never been more angry and shocked at a school in such a situation.

Can you guess what the money was for?

THE SCHOOL. 🙄🙄🙄

She is 7 years old.

To me, this is mentally damaging and soul destroying.

I'm dumbfounded to hear that any child who fundraised or just wished to take part in the " optional fun run" could be dismissed like this.

So.....
I told her that I will see if anyone on Facebook would be willing to donate the odd quid or two to a charity of her choice Chosen charity CLIC Sargent for children with cancer and that she could do a fun run locally.
