Background

As the winter cold sets in, we are turning our thoughts to the people of Afghanistan who are facing yet another season of harsh weather and dire economic challenges. With the ongoing political and economic turmoil exacerbating already difficult conditions, we are more determined than ever to do what we can to help.This past year, humanitarian needs across Afghanistan have intensified, in particular with many Non Governmental Organisations and charities exiting Afghanistan.

Objectives

We are delivering emergency supplies and funds in the face of extremely harsh winter conditions. The most vulnerable communities in the area are living in extreme poverty such as lacking basic food items and other essentials. Through this winter campaign we will be raising money for the 50 vulnerable families in the villages of Kohistan district of Kapisa province, Afghanistan.

By focusing at a specific location, we can ensure that your donations directly reach those who need it most, mainly vulnerable families and widows.

Distribution of Funds

We have trusted people in Afghanistan (whom we have worked with previously) who will distribute the supplies or funds. All proceeds will be sent to the families and the admin cost of this site will be covered by the organiser of this appeal.
