Story
Sheena spent her life dedicated to the care of others. As a nurse, she was passionate about enabling independence and the quality of care services.
Towards the end of her life there were a few occasions when having easy access to a Raizer would have 'been handy'. Thus, in her memory, we'd like to raise enough money to buy this emergency lifting chair for our community. The Raizer would be based at the Isle of Whithorn Church to benefit local people in the future - the nearest Raizer is currently at Newton Stewart Community Hospital, some 23 miles away.

Sheena Rose Newberry spent her life dedicated to health and social care. It seems appropriate that we honour and celebrate her memory by raising money for a piece of equipment for her community. The Raizer will ensure that trained individuals can help the person who has fallen.
