I've raised £10000 to To help Shehzad's family. He died suddenly of Corona Virus. For the education and upkeep of the children.

On Tuesday 11th May I woke up to find out that a much loved member of our family died. He was our driver for 5 years. I met him through Careem and loved his energy so much. My children loved him, we all did. Anyone who met him always told me he had the best energy, was the kindest and sweetest man.
He leaves behind 4 children, 4 boys. The eldest is 18 and his father wishes him to go to university. I intend to make this possible. I don’t want him to give up this dream and have to work instead at this young age to support his mother. He wants to study medicine.
Shehzad was unwell last Tuesday with a backache. He went to the private doctor that his insurance covered. I kept insisting he has a covid test, he assured me the doctor took bloods and he thinks it’s just a backache.
On Saturday he told me he felt better but was feeling weak on standing and a little dizzy. I told him please to stop fasting, and to keep checking for fever and to let me know. I now know that he had a slight fever on Sunday and had started coughing only when he was lying down. On Monday he went to the doctor again to collect his blood test results. He complained of breathing difficulties and chest issues. The doctor gave him nebulization. Told him he was going to be fine and then sent him home.
The next morning he had difficulty breathing. His room mates took him to Iranian hospital who directed them to Rashid. Unfortunately it was too late for him, upon arrival at Rashid his oxygen was 30 percent, and his heart stopped. Initially cause of death was heart attack. The next day after testing the body they found out, he did indeed have corona.
He didn’t inform me of his cough or breathing difficulty. He told his roommate he doesn’t want to stress me or ‘cause me tension’. I feel it’s my duty to help his family in ways I couldn’t help him.
I did speak to the doctor he saw those 2 times. I told him the story of what happened, I asked him why he didn’t test him and why he sent him home the day before he died. He said, ‘he didn’t have fever’.
I will give most of the money to his wife towards the education of her children and towards the families day to day living expenses as he was the bread winner.
I am currently trying to get all 7 of his roommates tested. I would like to donate some of the money raised to them. I would like them to promise me to isolate at home for the next month and I will give them money for food and necessities so they don’t feel they have to leave. This is the best way to ensure they do not spread the virus.
I will donate some money to distribute food packages in his name to the vulnerable in his home country Pakistan.
This is a crazy crazy time. I hope you are all staying safe and I hope you keep our Mr Shehzad in your prayers.
You can also donate via PayPal please contact me if you’d prefer to do so.
