I am trying to raise around £500 to be able to buy a memorial bench for a special little girl who was taken not only from her family way to soon but also taken from this world.

Im sure you are all very much aware of the heartbreaking story all over the news today about a beautiful little girl known to you as Elsie Scully-Hicks, But to her true biological family and friends she was Shayla O'Brien.

It is no secret that whilst Shayla's biological mother was pregnant for her she was experiencing some difficult times in her life, which led to the intervention of social services. After a long and painful fight Shayla's maternal Grandmother who wishes not to be named lost her fight to keep her darling grand-daughter and she was to be taken for adoption.

As if all this wasn't painful enough for her mum, nan, brother,sister and the rest of her loving family. Once their gorgeous girl was placed with the new family who had promised to love cherish and care for her it was then that she would be let down and she was to meet her devastating fate and be taken from us all forever.

Im not going to go into anymore detail as im sure you willl all read about this, but due to the adoption being signed and sealed Shayla's real family had no rights to be able to attend her funeral to say their final goodbyes so i am asking if any of you can donate as little as a £1 to this cause to help me fund a memorial bench to enable her family to go and sit and just talk to their beloved baby girl when they want to be around her then i know the family and myself will be forever grateful.
