I've raised £500 to help raise money to support students and staff at our link school in Bunjakko Island Vocational, Uganda

As many of you know, I am taking a group of wonderful students on an adventure of a lifetime- to visit our link school in Uganda and work with the fantastic charity- The Molly and Paul Childcare Foundation. Launceston College has had a link with this charity for 15 year, set up by Emma Thompson. The school was originally located in Kibeye, but due to a large amount of thefts they have had to relocate to Bunjakko, a beautiful location on the banks of Lake Victoria. The school has very little, but the students have worked incredibly hard to raise funds to build fences, paint their classrooms, install solar panels, provide textbooks and much needed porridge. We still want to be able to help further. We would love to be able to work with the community and provide much needed medical equipment for the local surgery, but also provide funding for scholarships to those most in need. A year's education is 100 pounds in Uganda, but with many students needing to come from miles around, board and lodging tops the amount up to 240 per year. Every single penny you donate will go directly to the school, and will make an incredible difference to the lives of so many amazing young people. We are visiting this July, and cannot wait to help start making a difference. Thank you for anything that you can give.
