Hi everyone,

I'll start by introducing myself, my name is James Calvert , I am 24 years old and from leek Staffordshire.

Ever since school and college I have been fascinated by the art of Pyrotechnics and special effects. I have been working hard for various companys for the past 8 years learning industry.

It has been a dream since I was 18 years old to start up my own professional display company , fireworks is something me and my partner are very passionate about.

Starting in this industry is very hard as it costs a lot of money to set up and is very heavily regulated. I am looking to raise £1000 to pay toward our first professional digital firing system. If we can achieve this , it will set us on the right path to becoming the professional company I envisige.

It's a very competitive industry and lots of long hours, having just had a little baby girl come into my life it has made me more determined to set up my company to provide for my family and give us a goal to achieve.
