IN THE BLEAK MID-WINTER
In the bleak mid-winter
Frosty wind made moan;
Earth stood hard as iron,
Water like a stone;
Snow had fallen, snow on snow,
Snow on snow,
In the bleak mid-winter
Long ago.
With the harsh Bosnian winter fast approaching, we need to stock up with extra food for the 45 dogs at Honor's Shelter Sapica, Sarajevo, Bosnia to see them through the cold days that lie ahead.
This is on top of the day to day food that the dogs require at the moment.
Your help is, therefore, desperately needed to ensure these dogs survive the cold winter months.
NO DONATION TOO SMALL. Donations can start from as little as £1. Thank you for whatever you can afford to give.
Honor’s Shelter Sapica is situated in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a private shelter for dogs saved from the streets, from the dog catchers, from death and from Praca public shelter. In Honor’s Shelter Sapica there are dogs who were once left to die, maltreated by uncaring owners or people on the streets. Here dogs are cared about, and they are given a chance to recover and have veterinary treatment. The aim is to find permanent homes for them through responsible adoption.
Honor’s Shelter Sapica is run by rescuers, Sejla Kadric and Fata Duric. It relies solely on the sponsorship of individual dogs and donations from kind supporters.
