Back in February an oil delivery driver damaged our tank when delivering fuel. A plumber fitted a new valve after a 3 week wait but we have not been able to get the boiler working and we've been told we need a new one. Aside from the cost of pursuing this through the courts we have been told it is taking 72 weeks! In order to continue rescuing through the very busy spring and summer months we need hot water. You can imagine how difficult it is to provide proper care to seriously ill, disabled and incontinent animals without hot water. For the past 8 weeks we have been without heating and hot water during the coldest months. On top of the stress with the animals my son is living with me and I am his carer after he suffered a severe traumatic brain injury last year spending 3 weeks in a coma and four months in hospital. Please help us to continue to rescue animals. The plumber has kindly agreed for me to pay in stages. The total cost is £2, 750 and that is the cheapest option available to us switching from oil to an LPG boiler. Thank you ❤️
