Appeal: to raise funds to equip an empty hospital ward for children with disabilities in Bangladesh. These vulnerable children require much needed support and help to live a more independent and fulfilling life. This appeal is in memory of Sherin, a member of our team.

Her smile was amazing.

Sherin joined SocietyLinks in 2017 and was a respected and popular youth worker who captured  the hearts of 100s of children, young people and families that she worked with in our organisation.

Sherin was well loved by our community, staff and everyone  who met her.  Her smile was infectious, she became a key member of our youth team from the word go. She was the epitome of reliability, fun and kindness.

She was confident and bubbly and somehow just knew how to connect with our most vulnerable.

We are all devastated by this sudden loss, and cannot comprehend how her life ended so suddenly. Sherin holds a very special place in all our memories and especially the young people and children who she supported

Sherin always wanted to help others and do what's right for children and young people and therefore we would like to honor her memory by installing tube wells in Bangladesh in areas where access is limited which will allow local children and their families to have access to fresh, safe drinking water all year round. As well as this due to the amazing support being shown by her dear loved ones we would like to equip a newly built paediatric ward in a hospital which offers medical treatment for the most needy. The money will be spent on provision of beds, linen, monitors and other basic equipment needed to offer medical treatment. This ward will also be named after Sherin to honor her memory and love for children.
