I started 🏃🏾♀️➡️ a year ago - I wouldn’t call it running by runners standards but I get from A to B a little quicker than walking! 😂 Running the London Marathon has never ever something on my radar 😱 but when the opportunity to take part dropped into my lap I had to pick myself off the floor and grab this once in MY lifetime opportunity! Since it is unlikely that I will be doing it again, I wanted to use the moment to raise funds for a very worthy cause. 👏🏾👏🏾
I am presently a trustee with Au Milieu, a young, small charity that provides Infant Parent Psychotherapy (IPP) services to mothers identified as being depressed, anxious, traumatised or at risk of maltreating their baby, to help turn the relationship with their baby into a secure and thriving one. Since this is a shortage specialism nationwide, Au Milieu also provides training to up-skill suitable clinical professionals to become Infant Parent Psychotherapists. Any monies you give will be transferred to the charity and used to support the charity’s objectives.
