Story

Rich and I are doing The 1 Mile Great Scottish Swim, in Loch Lomond, on the 25th August 2018.

We were always being asked 'who are you doing it for', but in all honesty, I initially signed up as a personal challenge, whilst Rich did the 10k swim. We finally decided it would be more rewarding, to do it together, to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic/ Ward at the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.

The money raised will go towards buying new equipment, to improve the lives of adults living with cystic fibrosis, in the North East.

Please sponsor us as little or as much as you'd like, every penny is appreciated and will give me the encouragement to get round!

We did it!!! It took us 1 hour 13 minutes and it's one of the hardest things I've done! Rich was my rock the whole way round. I honestly wouldn't have made it without him, as it was unbelievably choppy and I could have so easily given up without his encouragement. Thank you to everyone who has sponsored us, it's amazing that we've raised £550 so far! We really do appreciate every penny. X
