Due to the current crisis, Shetland Foodbanks are now under strain. You can read the recent Shetland Times article here -

I have set up this page for anyone to share and raise funds for by staying at home and demonstrating their creative skills.
*UPDATE* - Next Facebook live event will take place this Friday (3rd April) at 2pm. Please join the Shetland Buskathon - Foodbank Fundraiser group.
Kathleen Anderson is receiving donations in lieu of birthday presents for her 70th Birthday. A huge thank you to her and her friends / family for such an amazing act of kindness. Thank you everyone. x

4 years agoHello everyone, Just a peerie update to say we are now closing the Buskathon and transferring the money to the Shetland Foodbank. The donation link will remain open for a while and any extra cash will be submitted as it accumulates. Well done everyone. Cannot thank you enough for the incredible amount of hard work and money you've raised - £6,755 and still counting! Take care of yourselves. Jack. ✌️

Money is now being transferred to the Shetland Foodbank. The donation link will remain open for a while. This will definitely tide the foodbank over for a while during these trying times. THANK YOU ALL.
