    Story

Ian was the life and soul of Murrayfield DAFS Cricket club and also helped to set up the Friends of Roseburn Park. He was a friend and work colleague to many more. What better than a park bench overseeing the cricket field as a place to just sit with Ian for a while and remember him?
Thank you so much for your contributions so far... amazed how much we have raised ♡. The total cost of the bench will be £1900 so please be assured going over target will still result in your donation going towards the bench. And if we can can go over this a donation can be made to a suitable charity too. Many thanks to all from the family club and friends x

With 7 days left of our crowd funding campaign I'd just to update we have raised all the funds needed and got a little bit extra which we will use to help some of the causes Ian held close to him both within and outwith the cricket club. We are.planning the bench unveiling along with a memorial cricket match/event & dinner in April next year I hope many of you will attend at least some of that event. Thanks everyone As Ian might say jolly well done! We miss him dearly xx Thanks again Iain Martin
