What is crowdfunding?

Story
Hi Everyone,
The atrocities with war and conflicts have left so many people internally displaced. We believe in placing value on humanity and helping people find restoration, dignity, strength and purpose no matter the circumstance, It is for this reason we are going to N. Iraq - Kurdistan to bring the Shine and Strength development programme to the Refugees.
In partnership with The Refuge Initiative (an initiative of World Orphans), we (psychologists and professionals) will be going to train community leaders with the skills to run Shine & Strength programmes successfully with the people there serve. The programmes have been developed by Hillsong church for women to develop self-esteem and leadership while the Strength programme focuses on building greater resilience in men and the responsibility they have as role models and leaders in their family and broader community. '
The content of each programme will be adapted to be culturally and context specific and will teach them that their life has value, significance and purpose. It will also include training on emotional intelligence and the power of resilience with the aim to inspire them to overcome their context and believe in a better future.
Already delivered in women's prisons, women's shelters and refuges, schools, elderly centres, youth clubs, churches, amongst others. It has been running for 20 years, in 50 countries across six continents and has been translated into seven languages.
Note: we are monitoring the geo- political situation. Safety first. Nonetheless, the money will be put to extremely good use.
