Weʼve raised £15 to pay to replace the worn-out flooring in the entrance lobby of Shirehampton Public Hall with new flooring and to decorate the entrance area.

    Story

Shirehampton Public Hall is a Grade 2 listed gem set in the heart of an attractive suburb in Bristol. It was built in 1904 as a hall for the community, and more than one hundred years later is still in very active use.

Unsurprisingly, with such constant use, it is starting to show signs of its age. As part of its appeal as an attractive venue for weddings, parties and other regular activities, the entrance area and lobby needs a new floor surface and being tastefully decorated.

We are fortunate in being able to obtain grants for some projects, but as there is some urgency, we are asking the residents of Shirehampton and surroundings to help us with this vital task.
