hi i really need people help but all im asking for is 1.00 off people when i was young i loved my life and was very happy then one night at a disco i fainted i hurt my self so went to the drs he sent me to see a specialist when i went to see specialist he sent me for eeg when i went back for results he told me i was epileptic he started me on medication after a few days i had a fit then i started having regular fits 5 a day then they increased i went back to see specialist he added another drug this scenario went on for nearly ten years during that time i was toxic from the meds i was taking up to nine anticonvulsants a day and was having up to 300 seizures a month for nearly ten years i was house bound and was very poorly in 1990 my eyes were affected i was admitted to hospital and informed i wasn't epileptic i had been misdiagnosed the seizures were drug induced because i hadn't got epilepsy this was a shock i didn't do anything at first but then started legal claim to no avail my records went missing from four hospitals because of what happened i have never been a mum as i was told i was an uncontrollable epileptic and musnt have a family this still hurts im 56 now and i have had to come to terms with never being a mum or having grand children also my own parent have never had grandchildren as i have no siblings i have a copy of my medical records there was never any evidence of epilepsy even initially yet they gave me more and more drugs in 2000 i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia which has been caused by the trauma i went through for 9 to ten years im in pain all the time stuggle to do anything or walk i also have osteoarthritis and srojens syndrome then three years ago it came to light i have brain damage from the fits in the photo i cant open my eyes and was temporarily paralysed with legs ill never give in ive started falling 3 times down stairs the misdiagnosis was one off error there are very good neuro docs but this drs incompetence has caused me 35 years pain
