Story
Non funded drop in centre for our homeless, vulnerable, people struggling with addictions and ex forces. We call this centre the garage cafe and 7 nights a week to cater for the users of our centre all completely run by volunteers. we rely on donations from the public who have been amazing. We are now desperately low on food, drinks, take out cups and containers etc. Also we have a walk in fridge in need of repair which would make a vast difference, more work tops and alas already broken window to repair. Hope for the Homeless has now been operating for nearly 2 years and support anything between 30-50 a night with food, drinks, clothing and assisted help where necessary. A comforting ear to actually hear them. A hairdressing unit used once A month. Cold weather means growing numbers of people needing us. We would want our voluntary work to continue and need for it is high with your help we can continue. We hang clothes on railings for them to help themselves and the public are joining us in hanging coats etc too. This cause is very important to plymouth and necessary we would appreciate any help from you. Thank you ☺
