Story

We are raising £4,250 for Phase 2 of our Outdoor Project! 🥾🐾

The Challenge Over the Easter holidays, a dedicated team from Shoscombe Church School is taking on the historic Hadrian’s Wall.

Tania Rorison and Ali Phillips are leading the charge, trekking the trail from West to East. We'll be covering approximately 85 miles in just 6 days—and because we’re going to need all the support we can get, we’ve roped in family members to join the trek and act as a support drive!

The Furry Support Crew We aren't doing it alone, though! We’ll be joined by Truffle, our beloved school dog, along with her friends Quigley, Poppy, and Lily. That’s 16 paws and a lot of boots hitting the trail to support our students!

Why We Are Walking At Shoscombe, we know how vital outdoor play and learning are for our children’s development and wellbeing. We have already successfully funded and completed Phase 1 of our outdoor equipment project, and the impact has been fantastic.

Now, we are on a mission to raise the final £8,500 to complete Phase 2 before the summer. This final phase will provide the essential equipment needed to finish our outdoor transformation.

Our Goal: We are aiming to raise half of that total—£4,250— through this trek. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to getting this equipment installed in time for the summer term so the children can enjoy it in the sunshine.

Thank you so much for supporting us, the dogs, and most importantly, the children of Shoscombe Church School!
