Story

In recent weeks Bangladesh, Nepal and parts of India were hit by a massive flood. Flood is not uncommon in south east Asia. Many Bangladeshis took this suffering as a part of their lives and learned to live on. This year however it is particularly bad. Around 35% of the country is flooded. Hundreds have already died and millions of people are marooned. Many of these people are living under open sky without food, drinking water. Shortage of drinking water spreading deadly water borne diseases.

We are trying to collect enough money to buy and distribute dry food, drinking water, water purifying tablets and medicine in flood affected areas.

We will start our first relief activity in mid September in the remote northern district of Lalmonirhat. You can follow our activity here or in our facebook page.
