A few months ago I met an amazing family. The Sadler-Keans. Flick and Kevin have two beautiful children, Freddie and Minnie, each fighting their own health battles. I know that every single day they all experience so many highs and lows, they go above and beyond in ways we could never imagine. Flick always has a smile on her face, time for everyone and a resilience that is awe inspiring.

Freddie and Minnie are strong, they're fighters and winners because their parents are. As Flick once said to me "I will not be defined by my children's disabilities, they are not defined by their disabilities, they are just my children".

November is Prematurity Awareness Month. December 8th will mark 365 days of Minnie thriving at home. (She spent so long of her first years in hospital.)
