I'm 2012 a lovely lady that I befriended called Nora passed away. Nora had no family, was mainly housebound and really relied on befriending to have someone to chat to, have a cup of tea and tell her wealth of stories to. We became good friends. Last year Myself and my amazing family and friends hosted the first winter celebration to give more people who may be by themselves at Christmas a chance to enjoy a celebration with a Christmas dinner, entertainment, a glass of bubbles and people to chat to. I am doing this again this year on 18th December. £10 would sponsor one person to attend. I am also looking for volunteers and nominations of people who may be by themselves
