My nephew Harri has autism and attends The Hollies School in Pentwyn. It‘s a fantastic school, the teachers are just amazing and Harri has really flourished durning his first year there. I am going to be taking part in the Cotswolds Half Iron Man on the 5th of August to raise money for the school. This event consists of a 1.2 mile open water swim, a 56 mile bike ride and a 13.2 mile run. The funds will be used to purchase additional equipment such as sensory and autism specific toys / items that encourage the pupilts to interact / communicate and play. Such resources really do help open up their world and make a difference.
