Story

Sid is a 7 year old boy and has a twin brother named Mac. Sid had a tumour removed from the stem of his brain on Thursday 7th June which was a success. However the tumour has been tested and has come back as an aggressive form of cancer (ependymoma). Given this Sid has now got to go through 8-10 weeks intensive proton therapy abroad in 3 weeks time, potentially in Florida as the NHS do not provide this treatment in the UK. This is now the only option for Sid to continue leading a healthy and happy life side by side with his identical twin brother Mac. This treatment is imperative to Sid's recovery and without it it would have detrimental effects.

Whilst the NHS will fund the treatment for Sid given the seriousness of the case and how aggressive this type of cancer can be; we are raising money for the family to stay as a unit through this traumatic time. There is flights, accommodation, living costs whilst abroad and of course covering all the living costs and bills of the family home during this period.

We as a team Lee Dunbar, Jimmy Orr, Marcus Greaves and Chris Weir are going to do a skydive from 8,000 ft on 6th July in order to raise money toward the funds required. We would love to be able to help ease Simon and Alex Earleys financial pressures during this time and hope that people will find it in there hearts to donate whatever they can to keep the family together through this period. The donation can be as big or small as you like as every penny counts.

Thank you in advance x
