BLOODRUNNERS APPEAL!!!

I'm doing the Velocity Zipwire at Penrhyn Quarry on 2nd October. I'll be 82 by then & thought it might raise a few funds for a good cause. All money raised will go to SERV Suffolk & Cambridgeshire (link below) I know thousands of people already have but at 82 years old it may encourage a few more donations. The SERV folks use their own time & vehicles to collect & transport blood products & human milk from hospitals & homes to the hospital, air ambulance or anywhere else they are needed within Suffolk & Cambridgeshire. This year they have recently been victims of catalytic converter thieves, which has resulted in repair costs & vehicles being disabled for a number of days. Neither of which helps the service or their funds.

The actual zip wire "ride" will take place on 2nd October & I will have a friend doing it too, he is in his 70's. So with the drive up, the flight on the wire & the drive back it should be an interesting, if not tiring 3 day trip.
