I've raised £250 to Help fund triathlete Claire Danson's paralympic dream following her devastating accident by completing a sponsored Ultra Team Triathlon

Local Hampshire resident Claire Danson was a Team GB triathlete with a promising future in the sport, but was involved in a serious road accident with a tractor whilst on a training bike ride in August 2019 and as a result will never walk again. She is on a mission to compete as a para athlete and this event and the money it raises will go towards getting her closer to that dream.
A group of 30 local people have come together to complete an Ultra Team Triathlon and raise money for this very worthy cause. The event will take place on Sunday 1st March starting at 11am at Lord Wandsworth College in Hook and will encompass 10 runners covering 26.2 miles (2.62 miles each) 10 cyclists covering 112 miles (11.2 miles each) and 10 swimmers covering 2.4 miles (40 lengths each).
