Weʼre raising £700 to help "Saw It Here First Productions" raise as much money as possible for charity

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

We are "Saw It Here First Productions" - a not for profit organisation promoting new plays & raising money for charity - giving writers, directors & performers the opportunity to share their work at performance venues in London in front of theatre goers & industry professionals.

We invite writers to submit their scripts at a run time 10 to of 15 (max) minutes. Scripts are then chosen and directors are engaged to work on these scripts with actors to create a finished show. These are then showcased to theatre goers and industry professionals at a London based venue.

We are purely focused on raising money for charity and giving our theatre makers exposure and the chance to take part in creating something outstanding and provide top quality entertainment.

We are setting up a fund raising scheme via Just Giving, as costs for hiring a theatre in London is as ever on the rise. For our show in March, we managed to raise £1,526.23 for "Joey's Fund" in memory of a 10 month old boy who passed away from cancer. They money went towards helping children suffering from cancer and supporting their families. (Photos from our last show above)

We solely fund the costs of the show ourselves and want to put on another show in March 2020 to raise as much money as we can for another charity called "The Moira Fund" who provide funding and support to those bereaved by the murder/manslaughter of loved ones. This is in memory of Moira Jones who was killed in 2008 and also a personal friend of ours - Cathy Burke - who was murdered in Muswell Hill in 2017 and has recently been in the news.

Rather than giving a huge some of money from our ticket sales towards the cost of the theatre hire, insurance etc, we would like to raise as much money as we can via here for this, so that we can continue our work to help small charities and support them as much as we can. So please, even if you have a few pence to spare, absolutely any sum of money will help us. Support us to help support those who TRULY need help!
