I've raised £5000 to City Pregnancy Counselling & Psychotherapy. It is staffed by a volunteer team of professionally qualified therapists.

In September 2017, we found out just before our twenty week scan that our baby didn't have a heartbeat and that we had to deliver the baby. It was a tough and traumatic time. Lewisham hospital were very good and also suggested therapy. I organised some sessions at City Pregnancy, a free service (10 sessions) and I am almost half way through and even though I am half way through, I feel I can see the impact. The charity is based on donations only, I felt the sessions were so valuable that I would pay £500 a session if I could. That's why I'm running. I want to get men and families talking about miscarriage and also mental health which is such a taboo. I will keep running until I get to £5000 so that this free, invaluable service can keep going.
I will be running my first half marathon on Saturday, 13th January.
Please give what you can and if you can't donate talking about mental health is just fine! Just getting men to talk about lost and getting help is a big step!!
