Kate asked I share the updates below (had to post as three updates to keep to word limit) To Everyone who has messaged, sent flowers, cards and generously contributed to the JustGiving fund for Tommy and his daughter, we would like to thank you all. Your kindness, words of sympathy and comments have been a tremendous help in this time of our grief and please be sure we have read every last one of your tributes.

To lose our beloved Tommy, a son, a father, a brother, an uncle, a nephew, a cousin and a friend to so many of you, is the hardest thing we have ever endured. The grief is overwhelmingly engulfing and something that will never leave us. I still cannot fully accept that he has been taken from us forever and he will never walk through my door again and say ‘ALRIGHT MUM?’ To be taken from us in such a cowardly, brutal premeditated violent attack is hard to accept and it hurts us all so much.

Thank you to the cricket community across the Island that have shown so much kindness and support. Standing for a minutes silence across the island in tribute was a wonderful gesture and it still brings tears to eyes as I write this. Tommy’s funeral has been arranged for 4th July at 2.15pm at the crematorium. All are welcome. Please do not send flowers. Thank you, Kate and Family.
