I've raised £300 to Llangatwg visual & hearing loss play group

Llangatwg play group is a sensory play group for pre-school children with hearing and visual difficulties. It is run by specialist staff from the sensory support service for children with hearing and vision loss. This includes teachers, an audiological technician, a speech and language therapist and is supported by the National Deaf Children's Society. As well as providing stimulating activities to help the children develop as normally as possible in the weekly play sessions, the staff provide invaluable support to their families and promote communication to support natural language development.
The staff would like to set up a sensory loan library to include sensory books, special toy bags and stimulating musical instrument bags in the first instance so families can borrow things which stimulate language development, sensory play and communication with their pre-school child.
I'm raising money for this amazing group of families. Especially for 2 families who are very close to me who have kids with hearing difficulties in this group. So I'm doing a 10km trail run on the 12th Jan 2019 to raise money for sensory toys for the group which will be lent out to families in order to help these amazing kids in thier development.

2 other parents who attend the playgroup are also taking part in the run, whilst others are also doing a sponsored 1-mile walk with their children along Aberavon Beach the same week.
