Story
The practical bit: You probably don't know me but I've been asked by Simon's sister-in-law, Karen, to set this up so that Simon's friends around the world can contribute in any way they feel able. The only reason my name is on it is because I used my Justgiving account to set this up.
All donations go directly to his brother and sister-in-laws' account and will be used to cover some of the hospital costs incurred during his all-too-brief treatment, transport costs and his funeral costs in Abene, Senegal. Anything left over will be to to support his wife Khady and his two young
boys.
UPDATE: The response has been absolutely phenomenal and given the amount now donated, please rest assured that the substantial amount that will remain will be used to set up a fund to support Khady and the boys in their future life.
Each one of the donations will have a direct impact on the legacy that Simon inevitably leaves behind.
Rest in Peace, Simon.
