Story

I am raising funds to support my late Brother Scot's fellow veterans from the Staffordshire Regimental Association - my brother prior to his sudden death in January 2016 was The vice chair of the association which he was proud to serve to support veterans of the Regiment of all ages, Scot served in many conflicts during his short life of 43 years as a proud Staffordshire Soldier.
The Staffordshire Regiment was founded 312 years ago in the Kings Head Lichfield.
The regiment was disbanded in 2007 after they finished their tours in Iraq conflict and became part of the Mercian Regiment.
The Staffordshire Regimental Association support veterans of all ages in ensuring they have support in civilian life and offer welfare support to the Veterans in need, ranging from social gathering so they can meet up with fellow comrades who have served as Staffordshire soldiers in many campaigns throughout the ages and share their experiences and banter.
The association also support veterans and their families by offering support at funerals and times of need such as if they need any support within the home and support if in hospital or care.
We also support veterans to attend annual reunions such as Ypres and Arnhem remembrance days and annual reunions at the national remembrance day in London and Lichfield the home of the Staffordshire Regiment.
We are also raising funds for Cancer research as this is a cause close to our hearts as we all have been touched by Cancer and the research they do have saved so many lives and continue to research to find the cure.
If you can help us meet our target so we can continue to support our veterans we would be extremely grateful.
Thank you for reading our Story.
