Hi and thanks for taking an interest, what am I fund raising for ???

First some background, in the last 10 years I have had 2 heart attacks and bladder cancer, my wife 1 year ago had a double mastectomy, so you could say things have been a bit rough.

A very good friend of mine plays golf and invited me along, well I loved it, however, we have found that it's quite expensive for clubs (half decent) and membership.

The funding will help towards a number of things, get us both membership at a local club, which in the long term will save us money, will allow us to upgrade our clubs (I bought mine for £1 each at the dump, no, really I did!). The main thing is, we would like to get some gear to aid us to create a vBlog of our journey...

Journey, what journey !??

Yes, I'm new to golf, so once I get membership I can get an official handicap, as can my friend Wayne, and we'd like to create a timeline showing how we (hopefully) get our handicaps down, the goal, would be reduce by 10 strokes over a 1 year period, yes it will not be easy, but a worthwhile journey never is..
For me in particular, increasing my fitness level and get some exercise, I have a sedentary job, and need a reason to get out and exercise.
