Weʼve raised £200 to Help raise funds towards Sally Major's Immunotherapy Treatment in Germany

    Batley, United Kingdom
Funded on Tuesday, 31st January 2017

Don't have time to donate right now?

    Story

In 2015 Sally was diagnosed as having Stage Four bowel cancer, which meant treatment was no longer available to her on the NHS. This, despite doctors failing to spot her cancer on no fewer than 12 occasions.
Since then, Sally's many friends and family have been raising funds to help pay for her medical treatment. Sally is currently having to raise funds to help pay for Immunotherapy treatment in Hellweg, Germany. This treatment is extremely expensive but has been proven to be a success to many who found themselves in the same predicament as Sally.
Sally is married to Liam and they have four children, Ryan, Adam, Maisy and George. The family have successfully raised funds to pay for her first course of treatment but are now having to raise again to pay for the next course.
The family have received some media exposure both on a national and local level.
It is hoped that by fundraising, the family will not have to resort to selling their beautiful home in Silsden, West Yorkshire.
Please donate if you can, every penny really does help. Sally has just turned 33 years old and has so much life, happiness and love to give xxx

      Update from the Page owner

Thank you to everyone that has donated to make up the £200! Sadly, due to my own error I have failed to extend the page further as I intended to do. Donald shall be doing the race mid March and therefore I shall create a new page with a lower target (with the 200 taken into account) right now...please help to raise these much-needed funds for my beloved niece Sally. She is currently in Germany and is responding remarkably well to the treatment. This is all thanks to the likes of YOU that have made this possible for her xxx

In March 2017, our dear friend Donald Stainburn shall be partaking in the 47km Motatapu Mountain Bike race in New Zealand. Donald, like myself, hails from Batley, West Yorkshire. He has asked to do this race under the So, Sally Can Wait name to raise funds to help Sally's cause.
