Hi, my name is Daniel, and I’m raising money for a trip to Zanzibar (a small island off the coast of Tanzania) in July. I am going there with my scout group, and we will be volunteering at a local school, either doing building work or helping to teach in some of the classes. We will also be spending some time enjoying the trip, with tours and activities around the island.

To raise money for this trip, I have been doing odd jobs and gardening for friends and family and I am planning on doing a sponsored walk around Jersey to try and boost my funds. The walk will be 48 miles across three days, the 5th to the 7th of April, covering roughly 16 miles a day and sticking mainly to the route of the annual island walk. My scout group will also be volunteering at the Island Walk later in the summer.

I have set a target of £500 which would get me significantly closer to the total required for the trip, so I would love to reach it and be able to be a part of this amazing cause.

All money I raise will be transferred to the Jersey Scout Association to help pay for my trip.
