welcome everyone,

we have decided after 2 charity matches the past 2 years to do one more and this time for a very local worth while cause and one close to our hearts a very much loved Cambridge united fan..... Simon dobbin.

Simon is just a huge Cambridge united fan and followed his club home and away. then on march 21st 2015 his life and his families lives changed forever. he was walking past a pub in southend with a friend and was brutally attacked. this attack has left simon with permanent brain damage. Simon cant talk, cant walk, cant use his hands to name some things and has changed not only his life but his whole families lives.

we understand this must be heartbraking and hard to see on a daily basis but we are trying to help his whole family by putting on a family fun day with football match with ex Cambridge united players and ex pros players from all around. we will be having fun games for the kids, raffle/auction and many many more

game will be may 14th 2017 2pm kick off but turnstiles to open at 12 for kids things and to chat to players etc before hand and to allow itv to film a few bits too
